They didn’t care until their comeback either it’s so performative, meanwhile their actual fans genuinely hold them accountable for anything negative they’ve ever done 😭

hold them accountable no matter how long it was because people can still be hurt by their actions and THIS DOESN JUST APPLY TO BTS THIS APPLIES TO ANY KPOP IDOL OR ANY CELEBRITIES IN GENERAL! we all want to be fans and support and enjoy their music/acting etc. bur you don’t have to defend their bad actions, have them acknowledge

What does “holding them accountable” even mean? What specifically do their fans do to “hold them accountable”?

I mean yay for you. I just can’t get behind a group that has said the things bts has said and see fans ok with it. It hurts my heart because they seem like an ok group

yeah i understand that which is why i get why some people don’t indulge in their content etc bc they have done things that hurt people which is totally understandabl why you wouldn’t involve yourself with that specific group :) !

a lot of fans aren’t okay with what they’ve done but seeing others try and defend their past actions are just wrong on another level so yeah i agree with that

I mean bts are the biggest kpop group, anyone can call themselves a fan of anything. Unfortunately, having a big fandom means that the toxic sides are bigger too. Some ppl are just in kpop spaces to argue and use bts and their achievements as their “argument” against other fans that treat kpop groups like sports teams.
