if Heeseung really did leave based solely on his desire to pursue solo work, I am disappointed he couldn’t wait one more year. However, if there is an additional reasoning that was affecting the rest of the team, then I’m glad he decided to leave.

exactly, like we really don’t know what is happening so the best we can do is hope they are doing what’s best.

What would switching to another company accomplish for them?

Belift doesn't care about them or their wellbeing and has constantly had them on back to back schedules in these 6 years as well as making them do stuff they expressed they were uncomfortable with. They've been so busy that we fans have started to notice so if they go over to another company, as bad as some other K-pop companies are, it's better than Belift and they can express themselves all together and be with a company that supports them

So what you’re saying is that the group has no power or autonomy at all? Grown men?

I'm not saying they have no power whatsoever but the Korean industry is very strenuous and heavily restricts what an idol can and can't say/look/act, even as they reach age 40 they could still be kept under lock and key with their contract. Some companies are less constrictive and put an idol/groups preferences first to where they have more of a say in what direction they'd want the group to go in but that's not Belift, while they can state their opinion it comes down to the companies decision.
