Yeah it wasn't really their identity anymore. The company theyre under, Cube, was always the one that made them have the G. And they've always lowkey been supportive of queer culture, but now more than ever. I think that the G which should for girl wasn't the brand they want anymore. It's my 2026 theory that we're gonna get another summer queencard like era. I think idles really gonna come back soon. They always do because Soyeon is a great leader/producer.

I will say, even as an idle stan, I don't like every direction they take. But I respect them as artists so even if I don't love a comeback I support so that they can make future comebacks. Even though they removed 'girl's from their name, they continue to make feminist music. I also still pronounce their name Gidle and most other fans also do for clarification because idle just sound like idol and people don't know what you're talking about. No real fans really get offended if you stil say gidle

No me too. And I get that I'm into Idle for the music. I don't really watch their other content. I think its kinda similar to XG except XG was respecting Coconas identity, I think idle is mainly trying to better represent their FANS which is the difference. Idle has been accused many times of queerbaiting even though they openly just support queer culture. Being an idol, it's hard to show opinions on anything without getting hate, yknow?
