The youngest is an adult who is almost 19. Y’all have got to stop in infantilizing Asian people. Why are we acting like we weren’t singing sexual songs as kids? Just because a child likes a certain type of music doesn’t mean it was made for them.
I’m a film student and the Hootie Fruitie MV pisses me off. Because visually it is AMAZING. It is colorful and sensual and the hair and outfits are imo gorgeous. But that’s what’s awful. The youngest is 18. Their fandom is largely minors. It’s sad.

Yeah but almost immediately after she turned 18 is when hybe started to really sexualize them. We're not infantilizing their visuals, we just see the degrading factor of how hybe is treating them compared to a year ago. Also our songs as kids were hits for a reason, constantly on the radio and those artists actually had a voice in opinions, katseye is chained to their contract forced to do promos and make tacky music

OK, she’s an adult?? Literally who gives a fuck? Y’all got to stop pretending that these idols are being held captive in their companies as if multiple idols haven’t left HYBE recently. Let’s not pretend as if they aren’t actively doing the same dance moves on lives. Let’s not pretend as if they’re not asking for their outfits to be shorter. I don’t know what’s wrong with your brains, but they have never been for children.

their music video and song touch is literally about being ghosted by a man… what the fuck does the goddamn child know about that? Y’all are literally so fucking stupid.

Most idols don't have the millions of dollars it takes to break a contract even if they wanted to leave, those idols that were forced to leave were mostly kicked out by hybe or other companies. I'm not saying all idols don't get to wear what they want or request changes but some idols aren't comfortable with that and are forced wear what the directors/upper management wanted

When they debuted they were marketed for a younger audience with their colors, choreo, background, and personality regardless of the meaning of their songs

no, the fuck they weren’t just because they weren’t shaking their ass doesn’t mean they were for kids 😀. You’re acting like as if they didn’t release gnarly months after their debut.

If they have the money to break it then yes or if their contract was terminated from their company. I don't know them and I don't want to know them but I can see the pattern recognition in their situation from old idols that have told their stories and experience about the industry.

I said their target audience is a younger audience I never said it was kids more like 13-16 years old but it just so happens that kids listen and watch them. They don't appeal to an older audience cause we can see how bad they're doing and being marketed as. We are 2 people on the internet with opinions, grow up and text with the decency that you or I aren't going to be right all the time. Don't be a child and get upset just cause someone doesn't agree with you, respect people

All the people I see talk about them, who are an older audience and into kpop as well as western artist, don't like what they've been made into. Man you really have to find something better to do than finding more ways to try to bring someone down about their opinions and make yourself feel right

Exactly yet they're still promoted and hold concerts like k-idols. Hybe would treat them almost the same even if they're not physically around the hybe building all the time which makes me guess that their contracts are relatively the same, with exceptions as we've seen, as k-idols

It seems like you are cause anyone who can compare and contrast can see the way ads are. They're similar but also really different cause they're putting it out to a different demographic that are used to constant change and can drop people at the fall of a hat if they do something deemed offensive to them. Idols are constantly in the spotlight while western artists can come and go

Woah omg trying to pull on my heartstrings. I've. Web through the education and military system. I know how shit is done. You need to go back and figure out what you're interested in other than constantly responding 5 minutes later trying to ragebait someone you don't know. Don't you have something better to do. The system failed you as we can see.

I have shit to do but apparently you don't. Lie to yourself all you want about having shit outside being face first in your phone. You don't. You're trying to be a grammar police about a paragraph you can still clearly read. Go read a book and get to school. Learn something there. Maybe you'll learn manners next.
