I’m so sorry but this BTS album is not arirang at all. I don’t know why they would name their album arirang if 90% of the lyrics are English. making a foolery of a significant Korean word. Super disappointed.

Do you get to state how a Korean song/philisophy/history should be interpreted by seven Korean men? Airang is about longing. Longing for love, family, belonging, a place. This album more than delivered on that concept.

LOL at these comments I’m Korean. If there’s anyone that can have this cultural discourse it would be me. the Korean public feels the same way. BTS has lost SOO many Korean fans bc they’re music is just not the same since they’ve gone mainstream. They‘ve lost their color and culture.
