also to genuinely answer- it’s cause they’ve shown growth and vulnerability time and time again publicly and the demographics they insulted are always at the forefront of these conversations within the fandom. sure it doesn’t have to be accepted by everyone but when u have other kpop idols and even western celebrities to compare it to, they’re doing a lot of sincere thing to grow from it and it’s nice to see/acknowledge.

you guys always say that they’ve shown a lot of growth and vulnerability when they have multiple counts of being racist. they were gone for 4 damn years and turn around and they’re in another racist scandal again for not appreciating the history of a hbcu.. it doesn’t seem like it. and you keep making excuses instead of holding ur favs accountable which is exactly why they’re not growing. they spew out a bunch of nonsense and say sorry and all that’s supposed to be growth?

Its library is the leading research library on African American history. ur favs can’t even show a little of appreciation to black people and have us front in face in a video. till this that it’s an HBCU
