Gnarly/Internet Girl in particular are very “brain rot” songs, so I can totally respect that you don’t like them, but calling it “ass” sits wrong with me. It’s maybe just not what you enjoy?

and honestly the justification for gnarly doesn’t apply to “internet girl” and it was clearly given to them by geffen/their team so if fans don’t speak up we won’t get anything better 😭

Art is so subjective, so I think it’s important to use respectful language when discussing it even if it’s not your preference. (For the record, I’m totally in agreement that Katseye would shine with more mature/less brain-rot lyrics that show off their insane vocals)

Because art is subjective and just because something isn’t your taste doesn’t make it objectively bad. You not liking something doesn’t make it bad. It just means you don’t like it for your own respective reasons.

Yeah I didn’t like gnarly either. The dance was good, but it still couldn’t make me listen to the song by choice. Even then ppl were saying we don’t get it and we hate fun, but I understand the “concept” and what they were going for and it’s still not a good song imo. Also #2 I agree fans should be able to speak up because forcing mid songs to go viral is only going to harm the girls and their sound

I get why ppl didn’t like it but personally, I loved the beat and we had an MV/ an entire promo period to see the choreo for it and it was fun! Also the song literally had no message it was just an array of words, internet girl seems “intentional” or like satire but it just sounds like cocomelon, it’s less “experimental” and more like testing the waters for “their sound” which is why i hope the message gets across to their team (sry for the yap)
