i’ve been a fan for years, so I understand how hard it is for some people to let go of them and acknowledge when they do something wrong. but what we’re NOT gonna do is refuse to hold them accountable. this is messed up period.
I think the hate towards Hobi and Namjoon is so unwarranted. Like they absolutely did nothing wrong. They were invited to a concert. Mind you the night before JK and Tae were listening to him (no hate there way). No I’m not defending CB he is a fuck ass 🥷

I mean yeah but I don’t see anyone refusing to hold them accountable lmao they’re just saying that some of the things people are saying or that the kpop fans trying to turn this into something else are absolutely ridiculous. Multiple things can be true at the same time.

Hold them accountable for what, CB’s actions??! That’s like saying I should take accountability for being friends with someone who did something wrong. That’s crazy

hold them accountable for PLATFORMING him. giving him a voice, treating him as an equal. AND YES. you should probably not surround yourself with shit people or you’re implying that no matter what they did, you can overlook it to be their friend. that’s a shit moral compass.

No I’m not implying I am I definitely don’t do that and I would say something. However, they are not your friends and they are just fans of the man’s music and just like Tae and Jk if yall really had a problem you would’ve said something about them too. It’s just biased on who you fake fans decide to hate.

Plus they’re not giving CB a platform, he been had that. All they did was post on their story. Yall are so entitled to thinking you control them. They are human too.

i have problem with tae and jk too. now what. they don’t have to be my friends to know that making themselves look equal to a serial woman beater is wrong? how do you think the women cb has been with feel about bts rn, do you not have any empathy at all? if i was one of them i wouldn’t like to see people smiling in photos with him and having a good time at his concerts like he didn’t literally make people suffer. you guys are so weird that you can’t admit it’s wrong. but it’s dada so you dgaf

media literacy might actually be dead. i used trump as an example to showcase how selective people are being. if you replace trump with cb suddenly it’s wrong. but why? if you believe that just posting chris brown isn’t platforming or supporting him, why do things change when it’s another bad person?

but why r u automatically jumping to a comparison that would look significantly worse?

because that’s the point of a hyperbole? my point is that taking a photo with a bad person is wrong no matter who it is and would be considered platforming said person. even if trump is significantly worse you’re downplaying the actions of a serial woman abuser. i feel like you’re being purposely disingenuous if this comparison didn’t click.
