I mean for its time, it literally was the most accepting place in the world for all faiths to live together in relative peace. That kinda ended once it got taken over by diff groups

I mean depending on what period of it, it was probably the best place in the world at that time to be a part of a religion different than the state religion (at least if that religion was Jewish or Christian)

Like it was mostly under the Almohads that things were bad, and they were quite bad, and that was a foreign empire that invaded and took over which did not rule from Al-Andalus, and things became much better again after they fell and there was the second Taifa period
