My brother put this exact video on one time over break it was so frustrating. The video is about Kiryas Joel which is a very Hasidic neighborhood and the dude was just walking into the synagogue with a camera popping his head into the prayer room and demanding someone to tell him how many people in the neighborhood are on welfare. Like he was just going around asking people about if their neighbors were on welfare and getting upset when they didn’t want to talk. There’s multiple clips of

Someone asking him to stop filming or not post a video of them anywhere and he’s like no I’m allowed to do that. And like someone who wasn’t being antisemitic about it and is more informed I’m sure could make a great video investigating the how isolated Hasidic communities can be and why neighborhoods like kiryas Joel are so ethnically homogenous but that’s absolutely not it

In the end he got very few answers about welfare at all and any time someone answered that yeah quite a few people are on some form of welfare it was after he was incredibly pushy with leading questions and even showed multiple volunteer services provided by community members but he still concluded that Hasidic Jews are stealing all the welfare money

We are but he’s apparently been watching this YouTuber and also is not great at detecting antisemitism. He put the video on the tv while I was downstairs in spite of me telling him it would def be antisemitic.
