
i feel like yeah it’s a joke but it’s also classic european antisemitism. the way antisemitism has historically worked in europe is shifting the blame for things authority figures do onto jews. like sure a lot of people aren’t serious but a) it’s still antisemitic and b) it still (not so much in this case but when it happens with more serious issues) means the actual people responsible don’t have to be accountable for their actions. like sure it’s a joke but it’s not funny
