Christian somehow reading Jesus into the Torah has to be my favorite tropes because there is no intellectually honest way to interpret the Torah as having anything to do with Jesus

This is not an intellectually honest argument because you’re arguing from the Jewish standpoint. If you truly believed there was actually a son of God and the New Testament was divine, then why couldn’t the old testament be referencing him? Religion is often not something that can be 100% intellectualized because half of it is faith

an a ex-Christian convert, the only reason one is able to even think that Jesus is referenced in the Tanach is because we are raised to believe it and are given mistranslations of the word of G-d that reinforce it
