I think that’s what they were going for but at the same time Fiddler is very clear about the themes of oppression, antisemitism and poor quality of life due to religious identity in the shtetl so…

Idk. If it was a non Jewish group saying come in your shtetl best u would think it would be problematic. Coming from chabad it just seems like a celebration of Jewish history. All Jewish history has antisemitism and oppression, it’s better to focus on the Jews that survived and molded our culture from those times and not only focus on the negatives of the time.
