Is anyone else terrified by the rise in antisemitism and deranged conspiracies both on the right and left? It seems like they’ve been slowly closing in more on normal and moderate people by radicalizing them

I’m personally a lot more scared by the emboldened white supremacists and Neo nazis from the right tbh

The amount of holocaust deniers that are coming to the surface is very scary

Yeahhh same. Antisemites on the left will call you a k*ke. Antisemites on the right will lynch you

Right like one side just wants Palestinian liberation and the other literally wants a white Christian nationalist ethnostate and stans H man 😭

It’s becoming the same atp. Traditional right wing antisemitism has been adopted by the left in support of their anti-Zionism. (E.g. Holocaust denial, 9/11 conspiracies, the joos control the media)

The main difference imo is that we have always expected this from the right, but seeing this stuff spread by the left is less expected. The right is definitely more dangerous as of rn

Bro I haven’t seen much of that at all from the left. I’ll se Israel hating videos and the comments will be a mix of anti-Israel stuff and actual nazis but the thing is, those are just nazis from the right. I’ve seen very few leftists actually saying antisemitic stuff

Agree with 4. I’d rather meet a far left winger than a far right winger in a dark alley but when it comes to looking at the future I’m more alarmed by what’s happening on the left than on the right. Nazis gonna nazi but historically speaking when the “justice and equity” side starts slipping down the antisemitism slope that is a really bad sign not just for jews but for society in general

Personally I don’t think people who glorify Islamist terrorism and recycle a lot of right wing antisemitic tropes dressed as “social justice” and “liberation” are any better tbh. The far right may be more direct in their antisemitism but to claim that leftists are any better is pretty tone deaf.

Islamist terrorism is also right wing though you realize that right? They follow an extreme right wing ideology. And the right wing extremists have actual platforms right now. Like nick Fuentes etc. not to mention the right wing extremists running with Bibi and in the US gov

It’s a right wing ideology yet leftists glorify it because they view it as resistance against “oppression”. Even though it’s similar to white supremacy/nationalism, they defend it because they believe it’s based on oppression. It’s a very bizarre relationship

No leftist with a platform supports Hamas actually doing bad things. You can understand why they do different things or be glad there is a resistance while still acknowledging. That’s completely different than actual neo nazis

Hasan Piker, Guy Christensen, and many more leftists that have pretty large platforms have supported Islamist terrorist groups and tried to deflect from their ideologies and actions. Dressing up hatred as social justice doesn’t make it any less hateful and dangerous.

Never even heard of guy christensen. All I can remember about Hasan was talking about Hamas being resistance but feel free to show me a quote or something specific if you had anything in mind

First off, 9/11 conspiracies of all shapes and sorts have been a staple of the left since 9/11 Second, I don’t think those positions habe been adopted by “the left” and for most on the left even who have picked up some antisemitic beliefs, they’d be non-starters, but they’re rising across the board in a non-partisan way (although I think they’d only really take power on the right)
