Being an Israeli American Jew is actually one of the most isolating things. I lost the majority of my friends and acquaintances in May 2020 and 10/7. I became so hated. Now I wall myself off and can barely make friends because they leave anyway when I try

This sounds so corny “emo” but I just miss having friends. At best I have 2-3 close friends and can only really make friends with the other accepting Jews on campus

Idk why yall are downvoting me. I’m just venting. I didn’t make any political statements.

I want to get my degrees here, it’s just something I’ll have to deal with. I’ve been becoming close friends with another Israeli girl though on campus and that’s been really therapeutic. People just don’t really get it otherwise unless they’re Jewish and even then not everyone does get it :(
