I’m blocked I think but I genuinely don’t understand this line of thinking, like at all. Do you not think anti-Zionist Jews don’t realize that people still hate them for being Jewish? I’m lost

They’re just grasping at straws to ridicule what they don’t understand…

I think they’re getting at the confusion for Jews supporting a movement that hates them and wants them dead. A movement that hates Jews and it isn’t rly just about using Israel as a cover

I don’t think this specific post is addressing anti-Zionist Jews I think this one is addressing people who excuse antisemitic attacks as being anti-Zionist and refuse to recognize that they’re antisemitic

No deadass, I’ve been told this a million times as an anti-Zionist. Do they think we’re fucking stupid or something I genuinely don’t get it

I’ve been in the pro Palestine movement for so so so many years at this point, I’ve been to rallies, I’ve been to protests, and I’ve never experienced antisemitism once. Generalizing a whole movement as “heating Jews” won’t fix anything, isn’t right, and just flat out not true

Just bc you haven’t experienced it doesn’t make it not real. If the core leaders & movements on the land keep saying and doing the same things then maybe that’s representative of something

Well apparently it’s not as common as you guys constantly say it is if I’ve never experienced it. And you could literally say the same about Zionism. if the core leaders in movements on the land keep saying and doing the same thing maybe that’s representative of something. Some Zionist hate Palestinians, and we can see this in the politicians in Israel. So with that logic, all Zionists hate Palestinians then

There are people who join it because they hate Jews and the number of those people has grown, that is not and never has been the movement writ large. Like most chapters of these groups in the US are lead by Palestinians or by Jews Social media is very different, and a lot more of people on there are motivated by hatred of Jewish people, but the movement itself on the ground in this country has by and large never been lead by those people

Do you think Palestinians aren’t leading this movement in the interest of their own families?

You refuse to see it, not because it isn’t there, because it challenges your personal biases

If it was in a different context I agree with you, but I think, especially judging by his post history that this specific post is trying to use a horrific terror attack that had nothing to do with Zionism to attack anti-Zionists

Considering the user yeah but I think this specific post is directed at antisemites who use anti-Zionism as a cover. Like this user def would take any excuse to attack anti-Zionists but this specific post is directed at antisemites

I think that user doesn’t see much of a distinction between the two

Considering the user I think you’re right. I called him a kahanist once due to some of the things he was saying & he didn’t deny it but instead doubled down.
