I hate the government but I also have baby cousins living there that never asked for this. Why is it so hard to understand that Israelis are human?

The same reason why it’s so hard for so many to see the Iranians being murdered in the bombings of Iran as human, and that for too many Israelis it’s been too hard to see Palestinians in Gaza as human, and that it was too hard for Americans to see Iraqis as human in 2003… I wish there was a more consistent force against any dehumanization of anyone for any reason, even when people do horrific things, they are still human. That’s the scary part, that human beings can do monstrous things
