Apparently my family’s tradition of punching/shaking each other for every Daiyenu is something we only do but glad we’re on the same page as Sephardim with beating each other up during that song

But nothing beats closed fist punches, grabbing someone’s arms and shaking them or slapping them like a drum while trying to still say daiyenu

We’ve already been doing it for 3 generations lol there’s even a set of rules that have been passed down; 1. Only hit as hard as you can take a punch (except if they’re bigger than you then go for it) 2. Don’t hit anyone who isn’t participating 3. Keep in time with the song 4. Don’t break anything
