Ah yes let’s just ignore Arab colonialism and focus solely on the British. Shall we ignore the Ottoman Empire or the Roman Empire who took over the land too? And while we’re at it shall we return to the mandate of Palestine therefore getting rid of Jordan? Shall we give the French back the parts of the Middle East they had under occupation too?
I don’t think that Israelis are doing it to be all “hey let’s take out a whole group of people” like people think. I know they didn’t want this war. They are supportive of getting rid of a government that functions as a terror organization that’s attacked the country for years that much is true.
this is such a tired lie. Palestinians want to live in their homeland. the state of “israel” makes that an impossibility. Palestinians do not want to kill all Jewish people, and framing it in such a way is deeply anti-indigenous and outright ahistorical. “israeli” settlers, like amerikkkan ones and whites in South Africa, are exactly that. settlers. colonies cannot fight defensive wars because colonization itself is an act of war. the world said never again, some of us meant it
Israel isn’t a colonial power it is the size of New Jersey Israelis are indigenous to the land just like how Palestinians are also native. Neither group are going anywhere. Also if you’re gonna argue why “Israel big bad” PLEASE come up with an actual argument other than “genocide, apartheid, colonial state” because those have all been debunked time and time again.
what does size have to do with colonialism? was Liberia not a colony because it was also small? is that really the basis of your argument? that size indicates colonialism, not the presence of organizational structures that empower a class of people from beyond a land they are indigenous to, to have complete control over a nation? and you’re correct, Jewish peoples have always lived in Palestine, and will continue to when the occupation ends. not sure where you were going with that
And I’m not sure where you’re going with genocide libel since even the UN doesn’t label the issue in Gaza as one. Just cuz you say something a million times doesn’t make it true. Just from your repeated posts on here I can tell you’ve never been to Israel don’t know the country at all or how the region is the way it is. And acting like the Middle East was all kumbiya before Israel is an INSANE historical revisionist take.
Israel does what Israel does. Some good. Some bad. We call out the bad and uplift the good. You act like Israel is purposefully choosing to be this big scary we hate all Muslims type place. Oh wait, that’s the REST of the levant towards Jews and Kurds and Yazidis and Duze etc by the ACTUAL colonizers of the Middle East who are from the Arabian peninsula.
deeply racist labeling all of the people who live in the region as colonizing Arabs, given that much of the modern conflict stems from european colonialism in the first place. the border between Iraq and Syria (which cuts through the Kurdish nation) was drawn by and named after French and British diplomats. “israel” would not exist if not for the Balfour declaration, and recognition of zionist settlers by the British empire
Arab colonialism is why the region has forgotten its history. British colonialism is (part of but not all) the reason why the region is the way it is. Also name me one time in history when Palestine was a state and not the name of the region cuz if we’re gonna act like this then Jordan is also Palestine and we should be demanding that Jordan be renamed and returned to Palestinians.
seeing as we have only organized ourselves into nation-states for maybe 200 years, i don’t think it’s necessary or relevant to point to Palestinian “statehood”. “israel” was literally willed into existence by zionist settlers with the support of the British empire. that’s not quite the same as the Palestinians, Jewish, Christian, or otherwise, who have inhabited the lands known as Palestine for thousands of years
My guy…. Israel wasn’t born from Zionist settlers. Israel was reborn by Jews who have both inhabited the land after Roman exile cuz some stayed and by those returning after centuries of diaspora. Israel was decolonized. Probably shouldn’t have been the way it did but regardless it happened. Palestine hasn’t ever existed in a legitimized nation state. It should. Gaza could be a paradise for Palestinians in the future if peace is made.
The west is collapsing because it’s being rotted by people like you who think political “correctness and activism” means being hyper critical of everything and everyone as well as by people who think “I am the only one deserving of rights”. Israel won’t be going anywhere. It is here to stay. Get used to it.
