Have you looked at posts from Christian and Druze people in towns in S. Lebanon? About how they have, in the past, accepted people in only to end up being used as hiding for Hezbollah?

It wasn’t Israel saying don’t hide Muslims. It was Israel saying don’t hide armed Hezbollah terrorists.

Arab nations and authorities and have been blatantly saying for decades that they are singling out Israeli Jewish population for destruction, in almost every single Israeli-Arab war, yet these people don’t care about that for some reason. When Arab nations attempt textbook ethnic cleansing over and over again like they attempted in the first Israel-Arab war, and the wars after that, these people think it’s fine for some reason

So that doesn’t actually justify expelling Muslim people from their towns

It wasn’t just saying that And respectfully, Israel is an invading army, they don’t rally have any right to be commanding the civilian population.

Wait are you trying to justify Israel’s actions somehow? There’s legit talks about annexing South Lebanon but you think Israel & invading forces just has the Lebanese population at mind & is not looking out for them & wouldn’t do anything messed up?

If a country is having rockets fired at it from militants operating in a different country I think the country being fired upon has the right to respond to that don’t you think. Israel isn’t just invading Lebanon for no reason, they’re responding to Hezbollah firing rockets at Israeli cities from Lebanon. Honestly, do you really expect Israel to just sit there and take rocket fire from Hezbollah and do nothing about it?

I'm sorry but Lebanon did not attack Israel first, gimme a source that says otherwise. They literally just attacked them again and broke the ceasefire they agreed to with Iran, too

I don’t recall there being Polish militant groups firing rockets at German cities from people’s homes and Polish civilian areas being the reason for the Nazi German invasion of Poland

You’re right, Lebanon did not attack Israel, but Hezbollah did. Israel’s war in Lebanon is not against Lebanon itself but against Hezbollah militants in Lebanon. Even Lebanon itself is against Hezbollah, the Lebanese government has condemned Hezbollah for its activities. And Hezbollah is the one that broke the ceasefire by firing rockets into Israel from Lebanon after the US killed Khamenei: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2026_Lebanon_war

You responded to someone saying that Israel was saying to not hide Hezbollah militants by claiming it was the same rhetoric used by Nazis. That’s what I’m talking about. Israel is warning people not to shelter Hezbollah militants because they would be firing rockets at Israeli cities and Israel would have to respond by bombing them. Explain to me how this is any similar to the rhetoric used by the Nazis

I mean technically Israel kept firing into Lebanon after the last ceasefire so idk if you can really say Lebanon broke the cease fire & Israel is talking about annexation of South Lebanon. This is causing Hezbollah to grow more popular so I don’t think this is the best way for Israel to deal with Lebanon & Hezbollah but some seem to think think otherwise

Hezbollah did not attack first either my dude. That page says 2026 but that's just you cherry picking a starting point. They've been attacking Lebanon for god knows how long now. Was it 2025 or 2024 when they blew up a bunch of cell phones across the country? Remind me

They weren’t cell phones, they were pagers used by Hezbollah militants, and this was during the war with Hezbollah that started in 2023 that Hezbollah started by firing rockets at Israel following Oct 7th https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hezbollah%E2%80%93Israel_conflict_(2023%E2%80%93present)

I’m. It cherry picking a starting point, the war started on oct 8th 2023 when Hezbollah launched rockets at Israel after the October sixth attack, so it was started by Hezbollah years before the pager detonations

Do you think that the countries surrounding Israel has a right to invade Israel for having rockets fired into them?

If Israel was purposefully firing rockets into their cities yes that would give them a just cause to declare war and invade

In the countries Israel is bombing Israel is not firing rockets at them, Israel is using jets. You asked do those countries surrounding Israel have the right to invade Israel for bombing them, in those countries(Lebanon and Palestine) militant groups like Hamas and Hezbollah started wars with Israel by firing rockets into Israel first. If Israel let a militant group fire rockets into other countries from Israel, and those countries fired back, does that give Israel the right to invade them?

Do you know how long Israel has been bombing Gaza for? And Palestine doesn’t have sovereignty, Israel still controls their territory there has been no independence Hezbollah formed in response to the Israeli occupation, if you know anything about their history talking about them as if they started this doesn’t make much sense

Also what is the meaningful difference between using jets and rockets? Would you be fine with it if Hezbollah and Hamas were bombing Israel with jets?

It does to a certain extent, but I also think it just depends on the post and whose attention it attracts. Some posts I’ll get received positively and others I will negatively for making very similar points with very similar language
