I feel like this community is chronically online bc most jews I meet irl r leftists, many Marxists. Went to a Marxist reading club meeting tonight & everyone was Jewish. But this community erases us so much that it acts like don’t exist or are self hating

“Chronically online” when all it is is a higher population of Jews who actually believe in their religion lol. How many of those Marxist Jews at the reading club actually practice their faith let alone even believe in God?

Well if you give Jewish (perceived as white) marxists a platform in the US that would be dangerous for the empire’s longevity

Sorry you feel that way but you realize you’re probably like 0.05% of Jews?? So like sorry but don’t be surprised when people ignore esp when so far from the mainstream.

^^ In what world could someone who doesn’t believe in Judaism and is simply JINO reflect what it means to be Jewish. In what world, logically, does that make any sense

And all of those things are perceived differently from different people. So again, be more specific on your “Jewish values”

You’re arguing with a ghost lol. They’re valid as Jews, sure. But they’re not valid in representing what it means to be Jewish if they themselves don’t believe in it lol. Think about it for one second

So close, but perception doesn’t change the value; the values are well established by the teachings of Mishna and gemara

Yes, they Jews who believe in Judaism having a problem with their religion being co-opted for political gain are the ones making it worse, not the ones that spend their days trying to tell the world that communism is Jewish. Right

I guarantee you that 99.9% of Marxist Jews going to Marxist reading clubs are not observant. Like such an overwhelming majority it’s not even a generalization anymore. Marxism itself is literally anti religion

Compassionate Jew =\= observant Jew. Eating pork is not a Jewish value just because there are nice Jews that eat it. Marx literally says religion is a man made coping mechanism and will cease to exist when the communist utopia is established. It’s by definition anti religion. And I’m not gonna argue Marxist theory, but it’s common sense that the only people who represent Jewry are those who practice and believe in Judaism. Those who don’t represent us are still Jews

Marx was the furthest thing from believing in utopias, it’s literally called scientific socialism. He simply recognized the role of religion in society: “Religion is the sigh of the oppressed creature, the heart of a heartless world, and the soul of soulless conditions. It is the opium of the people.” That’s speaking positively about religion. Not negatively Being a good person will always supersede dietary guidelines, sorry.

Calling something an opium you’re trying to take man off of is not positive 💀 And thank you for proving my point. You’re free to have that opinion, but that’s not the Jewish opinion

lol I’m liberal. I don’t believe in socialism and think communism should only be a thought experiment but no hatred. But like plenty of Jews were longtime socialists in the 20th century. Actually Israel was quasi socialist for its first few decades but sadly the kibbutzim are the only part left

Well duh you’re a liberal, that’s what liberals do. You know the saying. Scratch a liberal and a fascist bleeds. You’d pick fascism over socialism. And good thing socialism is more than just a thought experiment. This isnt the 19th century And yeah that’s my point. We’ve abandoned our history and values

Ah yes, our deep rich history in leftist politics dating back to the wee times of the… 19th century. The guy that’s complaining about abandoning our values here literally said “Being a good person will always supersede dietary guidelines.” Lol. Let’s ignore the rest of the thousands of years of actual Jewish history because…? You don’t care for it?
