Right, modern political Zionism was literally adopted from antisemitic European Christians in the 19th century. That’s why Jews were opposed to political Zionism. It was considered antisemitic and reaffirming that they don’t belong where they have made their lives and home for generations

You say this based on what? I think it’d be hard to have any idea how any of us would be had there been no State of Israel bc it had such a dramatic impact on our world and the movies of Jews around the world in particular..

In the holy land in particular, it is one of many of our ancestral homelands. What is now Spain was the homeland of my ancestors for over a thousand years before we were exiled by the Catholics, most Jews have other homelands their ancestors were expelled from over the millennia And it’s not just about self determination, it’s about the holy land being turned into a “homeland,” for Jews globally in the modern era that exists under Jewish control, which is very much not the same thing
