update: OP saw my response to it and took down the post, apologizing and taking accountability. they did not know it was an antisemitic trope/dogwhistle and genuinely seems to feel terrible about it.
casual antisemitism at my school… also in the comments someone used the term “zio” so 😃 gonna have a field day tomorrow making this administration’s problem

I’m glad they took it down but how the fuck did they not see what they were saying was problematic?

they also said never to stop speaking up about antisemitism and that they didn’t intend to contribute to antizionism-turned-antisemitism

I don’t know what is more disappointing, the normalization of the antisemitic dog whistles or that posters total ignorance.

So going by their comment they thought it was originally okay to call out unshuvled snow thousands of miles away from Israel because somehow that supports genocide? So dumb

yeah but again, at least accountability for the blatant antisemitism

But like, how do they know that there are Zionists in the house unless they have an Israeli flag out or something. Are there just a bunch of houses with Israeli flags out?

i wrote them a really nice reply too. their antisemitism wasn’t intentional, but they still took accountability and action. they also were willing to learn from what i said rather than dismiss and disregard it, which has often been the case.
