
Okay, hol tf up, cause usually when I read headlines like this I'm like, "there's no goddamn way it's that simple, no way that 4 people are actually that straight-up openly evil, there has to be some underlying technical reason they voted like this." Imma look this one up and get back either way.
Should have known a state vote would have little elaborating information out there. From what I could find though, there were previous concerns from groups like the ACLU of Nevada regarding the Bill's constitutionality per the first amendment and the ability to prosecute related individuals, considering this bill would make AI content illegal that contains depictions of people that don't exist. Which is, yes, a technical issue, but imo is not a reason to not pass it and at least try.
