regardless of your political opinions and beliefs, shooting someone for just stating their opinion is absurd and they need to be locked up immediately.

He single handily is responsible for at least 16 homeless kids bc of his stance on abortion and forcing people to have kids who are too poor

he definitely wasn’t shot for just stating his opinion tho he’s made a career out of being a right wing grifter not like some innocent guy sharing his thoughts coincidentally

He stated more than political opinions and the fact that you don’t see that is your problem. He died exactly how he wanted! By his favorite subject… a gun. I don’t see what the issue is here .

didn’t say that i’m just saying all that is definitely important context and calling him “just a guy with an opinion” is a bit disingenuous

he didn't make the laws, the rules, etc. he just spoke on them and debated people on them. he isn't responsible for that stuff and def didn't deserve to be KILLED over it.

i personally don’t think he deserved to die necessarily either but people like kirk are the reason for the diffusion of harmful ideas that then create environments where awful laws get created so he’s a part of this system. laws don’t get made in a vacuum

why does it matter lmao it’s kinda at the crux of this whole conversation and likely the motive behind the attack it’s what his opinions are and what he does with them 😭

just because he was paid doesn't mean he was FORCING it on anyone. nobody was forced to attend, believe, or listen to what he said.

you could say this about propaganda and you’d be laughed at because it’s literally made to influence you. Kirk devoted his life to influencing people to believe in life-threatening policies. I don’t regret the death of a mass murderer, sorry not sorry.

When did he force them? He forced them his words? His words are some supreme authority? He had political office and made the laws. Did he do these things or did he just say stuff?

You said he is a mass murderer so he must have used guns right? Or did he murder people with his words?

You can acknowledge that shooting someone during a debate is horrible, and you can choose not show sympathy for charlie kirk as a person. They are not mutually exclusive…

His wife and kids were literally front row and had to watch their dad get murdered violently for millions to see. Charlie did not make laws he did not harm people he was a political commentator saying what he thinks is right.

He speaks in public forums. Literally every person was there by their own choice. In fact I would say those who ever debated with him were the ones trying to force their opinions on him. The intolerant left strikes again
