this is not a hill worth dying on since the terms aren’t commonly used in a medical setting anyways, and they’re not used because many (understandably) find them objectifying, including trans people.

No you’re completely right. Breast is the correct medical term. Which both men and women have. It’s actually quite weird people want to remove the term breast like they’re erasing men having breasts from reality. Wait until “chestfeeder” advocates find out about male breast cancer

On top of what #14 you are conflating leftists (some of which hold the values you stated) with Liberals who subscribe to liberal philosophy (most of which hold the values you stated). I would agree that many liberals (particularly white cis college educated ones) harp about identity politics to a degree that seemingly alienates the diversity they claim to want to make space for and creates an electorally focused mindset that does not have room for the messy nuance of changing local politics.

You also are being incredibly vague in the context of the #OP’s post when all you say Liberals (not Leftists let’s not mince words) are ‘pursing being as progressive as possible’ because you are assuming a reader understands that you are speaking only in the context of identity politics (?) and furthermore not showing why being overly progressive actually dehumanizes anyone cus the whole point of more progressive identity politics is to combat that and 2 of 3 terms above are doing the opposite.
