Even if the conspiracy that we run the banks, media, Hollywood, Europe and the entire free world…wouldn’t that just confirm that we are the greatest people? Gods chosen people? Bc in ancient times it was common to shave off the edges of coins to save a little bit of the silver/gold. By the Middle Ages minting technology advanced enough that reeded/patterned edges could be made so that people could tell if the sides had been filed down
