chatgpt has a formulaic moral arc and i kept having to cut down. i used the em dash bc the spaces were looking awry. i had to purge punctuation bc it was too many characters and now you ruined the layers of my joke by being a troglodyte and primitive creature with the intelligence and wit of a single-celled organism. just because em dashes temporally precede the widespread use of GenAI by you idiots doesn’t mean that it isn’t a mainstay in journalistic and just regular syntax.

like em dashes are literally the most beautiful thing about this ugly language that pales in comparison to the phonetically rich languages of the global south hence why they keep having to use loanwords bc nothing indigenous to english is meaningful.
