Coldest take ever but music and entertainment has hit peak capitalism and because of that we won’t ever have raw ‘talent,’ just a ton of options. Meaning, paradoxically, the most popular genres will cater to every possible consumer that a single artist will never be number 1 (or 2-99). The market is too saturated.
