The whole point of a “justice” system is to keep them away from law abiding citizens. Believe it or not it’s actually really easy to NOT go to get arrested. Criminals do not deserve compassion. The victims do. A lot of the people that commit crimes don’t even have the forethought of being in jail in the first place. They live solely in the moment and don’t think about the future at all. Can that person be “rehabilitated”? Absolutely not. Some people are simply not fit for society.

We wouldn’t have to worry about reoffending criminals if we just offed them after their first or second offense. Kill someone once, ok maybe something can be done to rehabilitate you. Kill someone again? Uh oh time for the permanent sleepy fucky wucky box.
