Deporting people who are here illegally is not this issue. I don’t think anyone disagrees with that, especially those involved in illegal activities. The difference is that Obama targeted the criminals and focused on national security threats, felons, and recent border crossers. ICE wasn’t busting down doors of people who overstayed Visas. And he did it all with a fraction of the money! Trump’s administration is responsible for nearly 30% of the national debt!

They didn’t kill innocent people. Stop acting like they were doing the same thing bc they weren’t. AND Obama was able to accomplish more with a fraction of the budget! Trump is a failure on immigration, the economy, job creation, foreign policy, etc. The worst prez in history. People who still support his criminal enterprise are imbeciles.

This is where I disagree. Dozens of very well known and respected politicians and news outlets including democrats were very supportive of the removal of illegal immigrants using ICE. When a democratic president did it they were praised for their efforts and then the media twisted reality to make people think Trump was evil for doing the same thing. The difference isn’t that people are more aware, it’s that people are getting in the way causing more issues instead of letting them do their job

Under the Obama administration 67 people died at the hands of ice and under Trump it has been 102. Yes the number is higher but you also have to realize when Obama was doing it it was praised and when Trump was doing it there was thousands of violent protesters agitating federal officers and making things worse and harder than it had to be.

The crazy thing is that people who overstayed their visas are here illegally. They continuously get benefits paid for by legal tax paying citizens when legally they are not supposed to be here. Approximately 37 million immigrants were able to follow the rules and laws and legally become a citizen of this country. And as far as debts go you have to realize that national debt is deeper than “the president spent all the money” legislation also spends money

During the first term of the Trump administration the government depend 3.4 trillion dollars on COVID-19. His total “contribution to debt” that totals “30%” is 11.5 trillion. So 30% of the “30%” was spent during an epidemic other presidents didn’t have the brunt of.

Actually Obama did send ice agents out to pick up illegal immigrants. And yes innocent people did die at the hands of ice agents under the administration. The difference is that during obamas presidency there wasn’t violent agitators making it harder for them to do their job. Also you just proved the point of the post
