Yep, that’s what I said. Glad you can read. If you can’t afford to pay rent on your own, I understand that, but lots of people can. And in some relationships 50-50 doesn’t mean splitting rent, and instead means splitting bills other ways

Ai aggregates credible sources when used right. You’re contradicting yourself, this reinforces less wives are housewives (paid work). For the majority 70%+ wives they can argue more equity in caregiving & chores but the rent/mortgage -as a working adult!?

I think you guys both agree but just are stating things differently. Overall things should be split 50-50. But if partner A wants to do 100% childcare/housework and partner B wants to do 100% income, that’s still a 50-50 relationship
