Everyone who denies the Lord Jesus Christ will have to account for their disbelief on judgement day and He will turn you away and say He never knew you, depart from me. That’s not in a position you want to be in. Especially when he paid the price for your salvation, and all you have to do is believe and follow his word. God bless everyone in this thread and whoever is reading.

If Jesus bothers you so much maybe you should dig deeper on why, the world hated Jesus first. The devil hates the truth.

You're acting as if secular ideas don't/ aren't influencing schools or laws. Same-sex marriage has been legal in the US for 15 years now, science-based education is taught in public schools, etc. Abortion could be argued but again, it's not based on some religious doctrine or else it would be illegal throughout the country. It's determined by law. Plus, arguments for pro life and other policies aren't always religious, though it does overlap.

If any of that becomes a disruption to education then yes they can be kicked out….for disruption and that’s inconsiderate af to kids at school. Do you think thats an attack against Christianity? Christians aren’t the only ones who pray or have a religious text. Give me an exact example of a student being kicked out of a public school for praying and the school didn’t face consequences.

Funny how being religious is always somehow “disruptive” and don’t even get me started on your whole “inconsiderate to a kids school” obviously you were in school once and know that 80% of the time THE KIDS ARE A DISTURBANCE IN THEMSELVES. Rude and disrespectful. And- a kid was sent home at my old school all because they brought up the Bible. And if you actually take the time there have been MANY other occurrences… I’m not naming them all though. You can do that homework. 🫩

I never said being religious is always being disruptive. You can’t read. I said “can be” meaning a possibility. I don’t find this conversation funny at all. And if that kid was actually sent home solely for talking about his religious text in a non disruptive manner then yes that is an issue. I didn’t ask you to name them all did I. I said an exact example (I didn’t even say exampleS)and the school didn’t face consequences.

Right…. You don’t find this conversation funny but you have no problem coming at a person for their religion? Interesting. And yeah I’m glad you actually see the issue taking place in public schools… as for the rest I’m not going to bother commenting because it was a lot of anger and rudeness which I don’t care to entertain if that’s where this conversation is going. 🥺😔

This is such an overused and weak argument. You’re arguing why a non believer doesn’t live in eternity with the God he/she doesn’t believe in? If you choose to separate from God in this life, why wouldn’t you continue to be separated after death? Wouldn’t you prefer that anyways?

If you did even a little research you wouldn’t say that. There is proof of His existence. But I’m not here to teach you. He is loving and right and just, people send themselves to hell for all kinds of reasons. There is nothing you can do that is good enough to get yourself into heaven, it’s the belief itself that Christ died for you and is your Lord and savior. He doesn’t pick and choose, he gives us free will to come to him, the same free will you have to comment and deny him.

Jesus founded the Catholic Church. All other denominations are inspired by Catholicism. He told Peter, Matthew 16:18 “And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it”. God is so intentional that even the word Peter translates to “pebble”. The Catholic Church’s origin traces back to Peter, he was the first Pope. God bless take care.

No. The Bible states that EVERYONE sinned. Including Mary. It states that Mary had children after having Jesus so she was not a perpetual Virgin. Children are innocent and will inherit the kingdom of Heaven. Baptism must be consensual and is essential and must be done via immersion, not sprinkling. There are no priests or popes in the foundation of the church. Jesus is our only intercession because the dead aren’t aware of things happening on earth. I could go on.
