
To clarify: It’s mostly just the difference between film and digital. The 1972 photo was processed for high contrast and saturation to look good in magazines, while the modern ones are raw scientific images calibrated for precise data rather than aesthetics. TLDR: its a sensor change, not the Earth actually getting dimmer
Because they blindly believe that some dickhead who posts “oh look the picture is duller than before therefore climate change xyz” like an echo chamber and not once think if theres any other reason why the earth looks different. Lack of critical thinking means they are an idiot in my experience.
