Nobody is convicted with actual evidence. You don’t get convicted on plausible evidence. Innocent until proven guilty. It’s how our entire system works. So for people to say, I don’t fully believe until I have factual evidence, that is 100% normal and how this country operates. Coming from different backgrounds has literally nothing to do with it.

Tell that to the thousands of black men wrongfully imprisoned. Our system works at different rates for different people. There is a hierarchy. Look into epstiens past history and the verdict of his old trial. If he had done the same as a poor person or a poc he’d still be in jail today after that trial.

Bro if a white person ends up in court in the first place there’s gonna be a much higher likelihood they’re guilty because white people tend to not get arrested over bullshit like other groups. Also the United States is not the United Kingdom and the history and race dynamics are significantly different so that data is relevant to the United kingdom not the United States.

I see where you’re coming from, I dont necessarily agree but its hard to find common ground on this topic i think bc SA is so complex and difficult to prove. As someone who has experienced SA, it feels incredibly lonely because there really is no way to prove it. Its not like sexual acts are recorded, and they don’t usually leave marks. And it gets even more complicated when you’re assaulted by someone you previously consented to being with. Its very difficult to provide evidence
