You like paying hundreds a month for health insurance only to still get hit with deductibles? You like rent and groceries eating half your paycheck? You like companies posting record profits while shrinking products and raising prices? You like every app, TV, software, and even your car trying to lock features behind subscriptions? Well, I certainly don’t expect healthcare, housing, groceries, and entertainment to be free. If *I* were providing those goods and services, I would expect to be paid for them too. I understand your argument. Some companies are too greedy. But every system has its flaws.

i never said they should be free but i can’t find a single sane person that believes the healthcare costs (or cost of living in general) in america is sensible

US healthcare dysfunction is a policy design failure within capitalism, not a product of capitalism itself, nor valid evidence against any single economic system. Switzerland, Germany, Japan, and Taiwan are all capitalist economies with far lower healthcare costs than the US. I get what you’re saying, and I agree, but your argument doesn’t apply to this context.
