K MF, are you gonna man the fields that feed the country? Take all the jobs immigrants take so you can major in gender studies? Immigration is not a choice, it’s a necessity for the US. Also, unless you’re a Native American, YOU are the result of mass immigration or Europeans to North America.

You mean you think they should take in people? Ya there’s a lot of people who think that, and they are stupid.

What a racist take. Most US farmers are white btw, and I guarantee Americans who need work would do any job for a livable wage except they can’t because illegal mass immigrants have taken them.

The farm owners are white. The ppl planting and harvesting are not. Exactly my point “ for a livable wage”. American enterprises TRIBE on underpaying migrant workers because they won’t report the abuse. Not to mention the harsh conditions

The people planting and harvesting absolutely are white. So you’re ok with Americans being out of jobs and getting paid absolutely nothing because you want cheap goods and more profit for large corps?

Americans aren’t "out of jobs," they simply just don’t want to work (those specific jobs at least). Immigrants primarily take labor intensive jobs, filling in the labor shortage (caused my Americans not wanting to work jobs that require "too much work") & contributing to our economy. There’s also countless statistics from reputable, non-biased sources stating so.

The crucial piece you’re missing is that Americans will absolutely work any job, they just don’t want to work at the wages illegals are paid. It’s impossible to be paid what someone who doesn’t pay income taxes is paid and not be homeless. Have you seen how hard guys on drilling platforms work? And they are paid accordingly. Illegals don’t contribute to our economy. They put Americans out of work and send their pay back to their home country where their families are.

Outsourcing our labor force and manufacturing to other nations or people has quite literally been the downfall of the US.

Outsourcing is what BUILT the US. We would not be as far as we are as a country without that. + Americans will not work at any job, especially now with the influx of everyone wanting to be their own "CEO." A lot are picky and think they deserve more than the effort some of these jobs require.

Now I understand in some areas the pay is absolute CRAP and I wouldn’t work for that either, but I’ve lived in major cities all my life (Palm Beach, Atlanta, VA Beach, etc.), some in which have recently increased their starting wages to $15-18 (I’ve seen some starting at $20 in ATL) for bare minimum jobs & people still complain about THAT. To get paid upwards of $20 with no experience, at a non-labor intensive job, whilst also living in the state of our country rn is AMAZING!

Mass production in WW2 brought an economic boom. This was before we outsourced all of our labor. The middle class boomed and unemployment was very low. This country was built not by outsourcing, but by strong American manufacturing.

Outsourcing has been traced back to long before then.
