yeahhh they really don’t have much of a purpose 😭 they were planted en masse because they grow quickly and have pretty white flowers. however, the “grow really quickly” part has made it so that these trees are SUPER invasive and outcompete native plants… but they also have really weak wood so they fall down easily! i dual enrolled in hs and did a garden center technician certificate, and my woody plant id prof described them as “junk trees,” which she didn’t do for almost any other plant!

Ykw some can smell like cum but i think it depends on the weather cs its mad hot here and just fries up the leaves and its smelly but when it was cold it wasnt that stinky more like cum ig

Probably depends on what stage of spring the tree is in and how far in bloom it is as well. Yeah you’re likely correct
