
I feel like this was written very politely and in a reminding manner… why are we acting like the person who wrote this is in the wrong?? Like OP obviously didn’t do anything villainous either but I assume they said something like “and for the lady?” which would obviously make that person feel uncomfortable if that’s not how they identified lmfao.
Dang. No offense, but how are we supposed to know everyone’s gender off the bat, one. Two, didn’t seem like the partner even corrected. Three, what if they don’t believe multiple genders? Can’t force people to change their beliefs. Four, can’t expect everyone to remember everyone’s pronouns, no offense, just being blunt
i assume it comes from this person saying things like “here you go ladies” when delivering things. the note is really neutral tbh, they clearly didn’t want to make a scene and so gave their message in the simplest way. no one’s saying that he should have known their gender, but it’s quite easy (and more polite tbh) to use neutral language (ie. here y’all go, here you go folks, etc.)
