i was gonna reply w:if your idea of civic engagement hinges only on the ballot and ballot only, and not other forms of resistance (the working class’s agitation is literally the engine of history, not the ballot which does nothing) then you need to decolonize your perception of civic engagement giving back to your community, doing mutual aid, resisting, disrupting…we have done this for centuries and our black and indigenous elders have passed down these strategies to us like it’s tradition.
