The ballroom thing is from private donations and the basketball/tennis court was renovated with funds from the White House operational budget. Why does the shutdown matter in this instance when the government isn’t paying for it? genuinely curious why you think so

Also I think it can be used for much more than just the private fundraisers, it being built means future presidents and administrations can use the new expansion not just🍊so I think it could be beneficial?
