well he said in an interview like a decade ago that he’s done a bunch of drugs (weed, shrooms, coke, LSD, etc.) so i’m assuming he’s sobered up a little as he’s gotten older and had kids. plus you can hear it in the new album imo

uh ok. He’s since said he makes music usually just crossed. And he’s only had one kid. Assuming he’s sobered up bc he’s gotten older isn’t a strong argument. And I think the opposite is true abt hearing it, seems like you’d need some help from weed for a song like My Old Ways. Truth is, your creative source can dry up even with weed.

Same goes for dracula, there’s evidence of strong songs that would be hardd to write without weed but even so, the rest wasn’t too strong

right, probably 3 songs max? i think you’re overestimating how much he was actually tripping lmfao. weed is a musician’s best friend, not acid. you can make crazier peak shit, sure, but no one can take enough acud to make a discography off it.
