it’s up there for me but there are a few albums i put over it. earl sweatshirt, deafheaven, nourished by time, panda bear, quadeca, at least all have it beat imo. swans too probably. & there are a couple upcoming releases that i think will end up ahead of it (sudan archives, silvana estrada) but it’s really so great & if we’re counting heavy metal in 2025 retrospectives c.w. has 2 top 10 projects
