I’m a woman, right now I just dress for comfort, haven’t gotten a haircut etc, don’t wear makeup or jewelry. I would like to find clothes, etc. or even a sort of posture/body language that says “I listen to indie/alt music, have an outsider/academic vibe.”

DIY FASHION!!! Doesnt necessarily have to just be cut up/ripped bs if you want to put some real effort into modifying clothes. Also I like wacky button ups fully buttoned to the top button it makes me feel evil and tall

Dye your hair, get layers in your hair, wear cool jeans, band tees, accessorize, do heavier eyeliner or eyeshadow, it will happen naturally if you just make more statements with how you choose to present yourself in general

what ive been doin that’s made me feel way more individual and more myself, especially on days when im not wearing a. outfit that really feels like me, is focusing on things that i don’t have to do everyday. like, find a piece of jewelry that you like, that feels like you that you can always keep on so you never have to think about putting it on. dye your hair! if you want to, it can be so fun. i’ve been bleaching highlights in my brown hair and dying them purple/pink every few weeks.
