funny that i’m seeing all these people post about charlie kirk’s death, and yet has never seen them speak about the millions of people and families dying all over the world. yes, it’s devastating for kirk’s family, but this man died for what he stood for

He was sitting under a tent that said “prove me wrong” on his prove me wrong tour, and was talking about his stance on gun control when it happened. He never gave a fuck about the families of shooting victims or the shooting victims themselves, and he didn’t give a fuck about empathy. Why should we

Wdym he died for what he stood for? The second amendment? He doesnt stand for gun violence he stands for the right to bare arms, I’m just so confused on what people mean about this

And it's funny that I never see anyone I know post about school shootings but since one happened to occur the same day he got shot, the people who I know damn well didn't like him are suddenly outspoken advocates against school shootings but they're the same people thatare simultaneously celebrating him dying... by being shot. So which is it?? Yall don't like the guns, or you just like them when they're being used against people you don't like?? The hypocrisy and double standards are staggering

How about we all just be respectful that somebody was publicly murdered and a video was posted of it for the world to see instead of arguing about who said what. I hate fucking liberals! All yall care about is yall opinions and have to insert whenever and wherever you can when this isn’t the time. A man died, show some respect! Yall are just mad because he stood for the TRUTH!

and you’re being deliberately dense. op obviously means wars, shit happening in gaza, the recent school shootings, ect. y’all care about this one white guy bc he had a platform to spout your toxic views for you and indoctrinated children to think the same. y’all love to cherry pick who gets actual sympathy and when to take measures or a little “thoughts and prayers” comment on an tiktok post

I think the main point of what he said what that gun violence will always be a thing, especially illegal weapons. if we lose our right to bear arms and we need to defend ourselves against someone who had an illegal firearm the police mostly likely will not respond until it’s too late

“i think it’s worth to have a cost.” he’s describing these preventable tragedies as something necessary to elevate our second amendment. obviously, he’s downplaying the amount of people killed by guns, as the percentage increases each year. basically saying that it’s acceptable for these people to die as long as we get our right to protect ourselves. this is how i interpreted his stance, obviously you can have another opinion but this is just how i see it.

Fr, there bad people in the world. If guns are banned then more dangerous automatic guns will be smuggled. Just like drugs.

Car accidents kill people... but the small amount that die are worth keeping the cars around. that's what he was comparing. Unless you wanna ban cars?

Guns were made to kill people. Cars were made for transportation. There are more stringent traffic laws than gun laws. You have to take multiple tests to get a drivers license. You can walk into a Walmart and buy a gun. A thing that was made to kill people (!!) For example, the civilian accessible AR-15 is an adapted version of the armalite AR-15, which was used in Vietnam. Why would anyone need that? Why are they so easily accessible?

Exactly…. There needs to be rules/laws. You’re admitting it works for driving a car… and as far as the AR-15 I’m not defining that because idk why anyone needs that. But that’s the kind of thing bad people would get or try to get /smuggle if guns were just banned. (I wanna say on the black market but idek where people get stuff like that )

how is that at all generalizing? what else, exactly, could op have been referring to when they said “millions of people and families dying all over the world”? how would the gaza genocide or the hundreds of school shootings in the us alone during the 2000-present *not* cross someone’s mind when they say that? they’re literal current events. it’s called context clues.
