i WISH more ppl could make this extremely important distinction. as an anti-zionist jewish person, it’s so frustrating how zionism is conflated with my culture and faith (which is antisemitism btw). zionism has been inserted into our communities in such a way that i have had to reckon with how much propaganda i was fed growing up over the last few years, and i still am working on chipping away at it with my mom

Yes. It supports the Zionist cause to conflate Israel with Jewish people. That’s why the propaganda pushes that connection.

As an antizionist Jew, you’re reinforcing this shit. You think they give a fuck who claims to be Zionist and who claims to not be? “Antizionism” is just a clean excuse to spew the same vile shit that has existed since medieval times. You can and should criticize Israel and its actions. But being “antizionist” is doing exactly what these antisemitic assholes want.

I don’t think so. I’m not Jewish, but I harbor no ill-will towards Jewish ppl. My anti-zionism is just that. Against zionists

my anti zionism is about being against the long history of settlement on the lands and displacement of Palestinian ppl, and everything that has resulted from that. the ORIGINAL concept of israel isn’t one i take issue with, but that ideal is long gone. i truly think there’s huge cognitive dissonance. think of purim, of passover, all of our holy days that are centered around stories of us being othered and forced out. that’s what israel is doing to palestinians.

The Jews harbor hatred against you tho. Read the Talmud and you see what they think about us lol. Funny thing is recently we’ve taken the power of the term “Goy/Goyim” back and then the ADL says it’s antisemitism for US to use that term 😂. It’s like, no, it’s loxist for them to use that word. It’s OUR word.

We really don’t. And the Talmud is a bunch of rabbis arguing. 95% of Jews haven’t read the Talmud and neither have you

no we don’t lol goy/goyim isn’t a slur, it’s just a succinct way to say “not jewish”. the talmud is not necessarily a conclusive or representative depiction of modern jewish values. i think u may need to connect with the outside world.

People also use Zionism to mean different things. There is Bernie Sanders Zionism and then there is Ben Gvir Zionism

You’re entitled to your opinion! Based on polling the most popular option among Palestinians is the two state solution so I defer to them.

They have a distinct national identity and don’t want to share a country with Israelis. I get that.

Antisemitism is what pushed Jews to Zionism. Most were anti Zionist until Nazi germany happened and no western country was willing to take in Jewish refugees
