I have sympathy for the old heads because they are just products of the time they were fortunate to be born in, I never hold that against them. But we can’t hate them for having that view. I saw a clip of Tim Dillon talking about Gen Z and how we have realized the system nowadays is a scam so we in turn treat it like a scam. We go to collect, not earn. And politically speaking half of our generation side with socialism, the other half sides with nationalism. It’s a dangerous game to play
Considering federal benifits are the highest they have ever been due to people NOT WORKING, i mean🤷♂️. Some people sincerely need SNAP benifits or any other benefits but many just misuse them. If you make over a certain amount you don’t get help, if u make under a certain amount you don’t get help. the sweet spot is just not having a job at all and living off the government or even student loans. Most kids i know can have a job just chose to live off student loans.
i think that this kind of pity you have for old people is disturbing. you 100% can hold it against them. they are here now in the present, in 2026. they see how the job market is changing, how the world is changing, and choose to stay ignorant. these are adults. a lot of them are 40-60. they are not stupid. they do not need to be pampered. they do not need to be pitied. they are grown ass adults that have lived more life than any of us and yet STILL CHOOSE to be ignorant of the world around them
I understand what your saying. Tbh I don’t really see it as pity, more just reality. They choose to stay ignorant because they already got theirs and they’re old and won’t be around much longer anyways. It’s like I wish they would take the effort to become less ignorant but it’s like trying to teach an old dog new tricks. They aren’t the future, we are. It’s up to us to change things.
