Yeah except I feel like you would confuse the two. Oftentimes, playing the “devils advocate” is the easiest way to test the extreme ends of a theory. It allows you to quickly test the bounds of what you’re being taught

Absolutely! I think everyone should be active and engaged in class material, but my post wasn’t talking about active students, a lot of men that fall into the self-proclaimed “devil’s advocate” archetype when they’re really just showing that they have no idea what they’re talking about
