The issue is the gap in maturity personally. It feels too easy for it to become manipulative. Both parties aren’t on equal footing. If they are both comparable in maturity I couldnt care less, no matter the number

Sure. So then why is the immediate assumption just disgust instead of judging the couple after you know them and know how they mesh?

It’s just an assumption people make if they don’t know the couple that well. Just because the odds are that they aren’t of a comparable maturity like if one is almost out of college and the other is fresh out of high school
