Seeing deer (and other hunted animals) ONLY as game and nothing else. Like seeing a deer in a field out of season and saying smth like “oh that’d look amazing on my wall” or “I could get some real meat out of him”

I have very much respect for these animals and try to be as ethical as possible when I hunt. Doesn’t hurt that they are beautiful too

What do you mean? Meat comes from stores and cutting your meat off makes you a woman. Lmao

Yes I’d like to be clear I’m not anti-meat or any of that like I respect the hunting culture and think it’s obviously very necessary for food and for diseases and stuff like that It’s just when people (not you) can’t see the beauty in the creature and only see them as their “prey”

Just bc I think that it’s odd to only see an animal as food and not a perfect work of nature?

Can you explain why you’re so mad? I’m not anti-guns or anti-hunting or any of that stuff because it’s very necessary for food and for disease prevention. I just think it’s weird and very icky when a person can only see these animals as prey and game.

Not saying that’s not a real phenomenon but it’s gotta be an exaggerated minority from an outside perspective if that makes sense

Oh I’m sure, I am hopeful that there’s few people who GENUINELY only see the animal as food. But I’ve met very many guys who that’s all they can say about the creature.
